Why we exist
Technology programmes fail in a familiar way. A large firm arrives, a large team builds a large amount of software, and eighteen months later the shortcuts block every change, the documentation describes a system that no longer exists, and the people who understood the design have moved to another account.
Akshara Tech was set up to work the other way round. Small senior teams, scope you can stop between, and documentation written for the engineer who inherits it rather than for the closeout meeting.
Akshara means letter — the imperishable syllable, the smallest unit that still carries meaning. The name is a reminder of the standard we hold ourselves to: what we leave behind should still be legible to someone who was not in the room.
What we are not
Not a staffing body shop, not a licence reseller, and not a fit for organisations who want a hundred consultants on site next month. When a request is outside what we do well, we say so early.
